OK. I am changing the biz name and the website. I would love to get an initial idea of what everyone thinks of the new site. There's still a lot of content, etc. that has to go in but I'd like to get everyones opinions of the color scheme and layout mainly.

Thanks.

Michael,

It generally looks ok. However, I would get rid of the frames with scroll bars because they cut off your pictures. Also, is you company name JMC2 or Michael Boggan Photography? Just wondering since you refer to both on your home page. Hope this helps.

It is most noticeable on your Info page.

yeah i see. the problem is that i am trying to code to 800 x 600. What are most of you coding to now? is 1024x768 the smallest now? i am going off my own research of talking to normal every day people that don't know a lot about computers and most of the ones i have talked to say there monitors are at 800x600.

Opinions please. (might be a topic for a new thread outside of this area)

- Inline frames are the devil. Why do you only want me to use 1/3 of my browser window? Why do you not want people to be able to bookmark individual pages? Why do you want Google to not index much of your content?
- More Photos. They should be the main emphasis of your site.
- The Navigation is boring. The Shadows on the text is too heavy.
- Comic Sans doesn't look professional for a text font (http://bancomicsans.com/)

Sorry if I came on a little strong. It's the end of a long day.

I am viewing at 1600X1200 and the frames are a little annoying.

Ok I have the frame issue worked out. It should stretch with the size of the window now. As for the font. That shouldn't have been there. Not sure why I changed it to the Comic Sans.

And for the reason I am using the iFrame is because of having one menu system. I don't want to have to redo the menu and everything else for every page in the site. As the site grows that would get crazy. And since I am not doing flash because flash is the anti-christ, this is the best way to do it. along with using stylesheets.

and no problem. didn't think it was too strong. I have been in the computer industry for a long time and if there is one thing I have learned, it's that EVERYONE has their opinion. That's why I asked. I want to get many opinions.

I agree it's much better, at least you are letting me use the full length of my screen.

If modifying the menu is your concern, try using Server Side Includes, (or the same using PHP or ASP). Much simpler and more powerful in the long run once you get them running. Your host has to support it, but I don't think I've ever seen a host that did support one of those three options. Once you make this transition I suspect you will never go back.

I'm not crazy about your new logo, and still not crazy about your nav buttons, but that's all a matter of taste.

More pictures, more pictures, more pictures...

Right off the bat, I do not see your phone number on your home page. I am a firm beliver that you should have a phone number on every page of your site.
