Just went live with my BluDomain site this past weekend. Was hoping to get some feedback on how it looks/works using different web-browsers. Also, if you see anything glaringly annoying (or wonderful...lol!) about the site, please, please, please let me know. Thanks!!

Well I just got back from there and I was very impressed!
I love how fast everything is and of course you are a grade A
photographer. I use ie 7.0.5730.11 and was unable to hear any sound.
Way cool.

Was there supposed to be sound ??
I find it hard to read the brown text on the black background.
Like the idea of a calendar.
great photos., I didn't surf the whole site, but it seemed to transition nicely.

Henry, Tom...Thank you very much for your input. I found it very helpful. I didn't realize the jukebox was visible. I went ahead and hid it upon reading your respective comments because I'm not ready for a jukebox quite yet. :)

Can you change the page title? Currently it reads "BluDomain, BluDomainhosting, Bluedomain, photography websites". Also, on the copyright notice, there's a strange character (a variant of a capital A), and when you click on the link, it opens another photographer's site (http://www.briannagraham.com/).

Thanks, Daniel. Another thing that I didn't notice. I'll look into what I need to do to change both the page title and the copyright symbol.

Absolutely love the site, Katya; really shows off your photography and graphic artistry well!

Only a few notes:
- After entering the site, the link headers at the top of the page are not clickable; wouldn't mind just having it take me somewhere when I click on things like Portfolio, Information, etc. Some headers are clickable (Clients), some aren't; I'm big on consistency.
- Good speed; the flash doesn't slow things down too much. The payoff is worth it on this one!
- I like your Day In The Life package idea, very cool. Had any takers on it yet?
- Love the "Informal Education: Life" part; always great to slip in some humor.
- In entering "test" for my password on the Clients page, I was greeted with a lovely photo. Unexpected, but I'll take it!
- Entering "test2", however, seems to cause an infinite case of "verifying password." Do you have a timeout set for that or is it stuck in some sort of loop?
- I like your calendar, but it might be good to have a direct link or information on contacting you on that page; so that as soon as they see an advantageous date, they can jump on it and reserve an appointment. "Contact" is only a click away...but it's still an opportunity to lose'em.
- Clicking on your Commercial link off your Main page takes me to, I assume of course, your business site; using the word Commercial, though, people may think that it's just Commercial photography, and there's a lot more in there. Might consider rewording.
- Clicking on Commercial on your Main page opens up a new window - but then clicking on Main Page in that window reopens the Main Page in that new window, leaving the old one still open as well. Repeating this process opens more new windows. I would suggest, if you're going to open a new window, to have the Main Page link in that window close the window, so your viewer hopefully goes back to the previous Main Page window. Preferably, I would suggest just keeping everything in one window.
- Your Fine Art area and your 'Commercial' areas have the same design, but says neither Fine Art nor Commercial on it; if a visitor goes from one to the other, or back, they might 'get lost' somewhere in there. Might consider putting the title of that area somewhere on the page.

Nits aside, absolutely fantastic site. It's rare that I find a flash site which works so fluidly and quickly, and in the process, looks so darn good. It adds a lot of 'little somethings,' which I greatly appreciate.

May I ask who designed your site? I think they (or you, if you did it yourself!) deserve recognition, and I may definitely have some work for them from my own clients.

I was about to ask the same thing until I googled "BlueDomain" and saw the premade editable flash templates.

James, thank you so much for your thorough review. Great information.

Day in the Life Packages - This package is a new offering, however, I have already had one person express interest for a date later this year. We'll see if the interest converts into an actual session. I craft my offerings around what would give me the most joy. I just thought that this type of session would be loads of fun. It may not be for everybody, but I'd be quite thrilled if this segment of my photography took off.

Clients Page - Your comment on the "Client" page surprised me because I didn't think anyone can see the "Test" section. When I look at it, I don't see it. If you are able to do so, would you mind posting a screenshot of the page where you saw the "Test" portfolio. I'd really appreciate it. I'm going to begin loading client photos later this week, and I don't want everyone to have access to them. The clients are of the understanding that the viewing area will be private. Thanks.

Other suggestions -- All are terrific suggestions. I'll see what I can do to make some of the recommended changes. The site is based off of a BluDomain template, so I'm not sure how much leeway I have with regards to certain aspects of the design.

Again, thank you!

Katya, no worries! Glad to help.

There is a key to success in life and business in that line!

On the Clients page, I just typed "test" into the password field and it took me to, what I assume, is your test page. Dumb luck; I think your clients' pages should be perfectly safe.

I'll give props to BluDomain on this template; it's just fantastic. How hard was it to customize the site to your work? Do they have a front end content management system, or did you have to reprogram it yourself?
