I looked at all the pages.
They are very intuitive and seamless.
I like the music (except the Blue Angels beginning threw me off a little). How about a Sousa March, or some other High Flying music?

I need to build a site like yours. How much trouble can I expect ??

Hoping against hope, I went and looked. Nope, no "Would you like music with this", just started blaring out at me. And _much_ louder than the music I was already playing.

I'd like to suggest defaulting to no music, and allowing visitors to decide if they would like to hear your choice or not.

Tom It was very easy. That is the reason I went with Photobiz. I am just not good with that kind of stuff and I didn't want to get pissed off and say screw it.
I paid for it last night around 7pm I believe. and stopped working on it around 10.
Just now starting to work on it more.
As for the music for the angels I honestly didn't even know what it sounded like lol. I just plugged one in, Guess I should change it and listen to it lol.
I have a coupon code for less than half the asking price if you are interested let me know. I have to look it up.
Bill I will take note of the music and look to see how I can make it a choice.

I appreciate both of your opinions :D

Breezy,

Your site is great! It's incredible that you put it together in a few hours. It's really professional looking. As far as the music goes, can you add your own mp3's or do you have to select one of their songs. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to get one of their coupon codes.

Jeff

Breezy,

Looks real nice, but allow me to point out a couple of things that jumped out at me from a business perspective:

1. Under "about me": You say "I am a Navy Wife" who loves photography, but you don't say one time that you are a professional photographer. That is what you need to define yourself as if you're serious about this (and your pricing seems to suggest that you are). Anyone with a tax ID and a DBA is a pro. They nay be great, or they may suck, but they're still a pro.

2. Under contact me--you may want to lose the gmail address and use one with your url. free email addresses for a business looks low budget. The rest of your site looks nice, so don't drag down the perception of your prospects.

I agree with Bill's comments about the music--it was pretty loud for me, too. Actually scared the crap out of me when it came on.

And I will change the about me again. :D
That is why I am asking for opinions :)
As for the music scaring the crap out of you sorry about that lol. If I turn it off it is the entire site and I am still debating.
So should I put a warning on there? lol

Hi Breezy,

Like the site, but IMO you should really re-consider the music part:( IMO music - or anythine else for that matter - should NEVER be automatically loaded and played on websites, EVER. It always makes me wonder what else the website is loading and running automatically without me knowing about it. I'm not much fan of flash either but it seems that most photography sites can't be without it (as someone who has been writing html code for 11 years and php for 5 years I know that ain't so<g>) so I can deal with flash by now;)

Best regards,

Thanks Arnor
As for HTML and Flash had I not gotten the deal that I had I would have done HTML. I got the flash site for $25 more than the HTML so I couldn't beat it.
I will reconsider the music. Thanks agian :D

Additional suggestion - on your calendar. It looks like you have no business, and that usually doesn't draw in more folks. They tend to wonder whats wrong that no one is going to you. Realize its a new site and you've had it for 2 hours and all, so maybe you just havent gotten to it yet. But, if the situation is that you only have 1 something booked, you might want to black out other days you are unavailable - days off, your kids birthday, manni-petti day. That way you have the appearance of having gigs...just dont write manni/petti on the date. As long as you have a few dates blacked out for any reason, it helps.
