Because one can never have enough websites, last week I started working on a new one! It is finally ready for public consumption - let me know what you think!

A few things in advance, since I figure they will come up:
- I need to add more photos to the gallery and they need to be sorted a little bit better. I've had a few things come up that trumped this in priority, so the galleries are a work in progress.

- The slideshows: the template for the photos have some spots where they zoom by a bit fast. Sorry about that. I used the templates that came with the software, and I haven't learned yet how to change it. I will change it on future shows, but those that are already done? Well, they will just have some fast spots. Or as one person said, the "Ken Burns Effect."

Looking forward to feedback! Thanks in advance!

Christine,

I LIKE IT!!

Just one question, from your start page, it has a BROWN backdrop and then when you go to the wedding section it remains the same. But, what about the Fresh Photography section, it goes to a WHITE backdrop, it makes me feel like I went to another website.

Is it supposed to be that way or was it overlooked by accident?

Just trying to help, but other than that it looks AWESOME!!!!!

Let me know if I am just CRAZY???????

I am still trying to come up with a plan for mine!!!

I hope I can get help from great people like you and all these great TPF!

Later,
TxmexNitro - Angel

that's very possible because i believe it 's a template, so someone else may have used the same template.

That layout is used on the Boutwell site, I think... at least their music player is similar.

I'd say you did a good job!

You did go to another website. Fresh Photography is a collective business with myself and my partner, Elaine Mesker-Garcia; we sell prints at art markets and do commercial work for a number of people. I originally had planned to put all of my wedding & portrait work there too, but it made the site really cluttered. Plus marketing strategy and advice from some of the "big names" suggested using my name to brand myself. Makes sense if you think about it - people know you by your name. It is what they remember. And if you look around, 99% of the time it is what the top in the industry are doing. All the buzz names you hear? They don't have business names, they brand themselves.

So yeah, you went to a different site. The colors of both business are the same (brown, blue & white), just in different doses for each brand.

Blu Domain #31, "Betty". Yes, definitely possible that you have seen it somewhere else, as I have at least 2 friends myself that use it. Both gave me great advice on how it functions, photo dimensions, etc. so I could have some images ready to crop & roll when I set the site up.

Purchased during their "The Daddy!" sale. Always keep an eye out for their sales, they happen every few months or so it seems!

It isn't the same music player as the current Boutwell site; they maybe used a Blu template previously? But the new site has a different look & feel.
