I got inspiration from JAlbulm. I took the look of one I produced then coded up the whole thing from scratch. I had problems trying to modify the JAlbulm code to make it look like I wanted, so I went the long route.
The Gallery page is a hybrid between the html and the Simpleviewer output from an Adobe Lightroom template. When it produces the files for a webpage I copy the folders, xml and config file to my website directory, then copy the html from the index.html file that makes the slides display and plop them in the body of the gallery html. It sounds complicated, but took me all of 20 minutes to figure out and make look good. It now takes me 2 minutes to completely update my slides on the site after creating the new gallery in Lightroom and exporting. |
