I have a test site uploaded that I'm looking to get some critique on. The goals of the redesign were:

1. To freshen the design
2. Separate the galleries from one another
3. Increase the size of the images in the galleries

New:http://www.thoughtful-imagery.com/test/test.htm
Old: http://www.thoughtful-imagery.com

Things I'm going to address:
1. Add pricing information and how-to
2. Any suggestions you may have

I like the new layout of the site, however IMHO the old site looks more professional. I think the black in the old site makes the pictures pop...

Thanks, I'm making the background a bit darker. Is it the faux-wood that makes it look unprofessional - or the color scheme in general, the font?

I do like the change you made to the background...

I don't think it's the font that is bothering me so much as the brown faux wood....I am not one for mixing the brown and black family, that's just me though...some people like it...I am trying to think of another color that would look good...you could still use the orange if you wanted...you don't have to change up everything to give it a fresh look. Your photos are vibrant and bold and I think the orange, or another bold color it what you need to go with...

You have some great work but on the new site I can see the pixels in each image...I dont' know if those are the ones you are actually going to use or they are just place holders but that is something that I would most definately fix...

Trying the orange - I resized the images in PS vs. JAlbum hopefully they're cleaner now.

The images look great now. I do like the orange better. Is there a way you can seperate your logo/company name from your tabs....

I completely redid my website to represent a change in focus of my "professional" photography.
Only the fashion and art galleries work for the test (also ignore the poor image quality - I had to upsize thumbnails so I could make the galleries):

All hand-coded and designed in flash let me know what you think.
