Two sites integrated... - 11-26-2008, 09:18 AM

I've settled (for the time being) on two services for my online presence.

PhotoBiz for my front end site: http://www.KevinLynam.com/

Exposure Manager for proofing/ordering: http://klynam.exposuremanager.com/

The general look-n-feel is from a PhotoBiz template that I customized it w/ a "logo" treatment.

I chose it to force me into something a little more modern and edgy than my previous site.

Just curious what everyone thinks...

I like it. I like what you did with exposure manager too. I also have exposure manager but it's just a default template. I'm in the process of rebuilding my website but I would also like to figure out how to make exposure manager look like something other than exposure manager.

I like it too. You tied both web sites together nicely. And I like the edgy design.

Getting EM to NOT look like EM is possible, but only to the degree you are comfortable coding HTML and CSS style sheets.

Adding custom header/footer images is farily easy, and I created a style sheet with complimentary colors. I also commented out some of the includes (page title) EM had in their code, but that's about as far as I can go w/ code myself...

I'm not comfortable at all with coding so I better leave it alone before I blow something up. I knew about headers, footers and style sheets but haven't taken time to do anything with them.

What you did looks great.

I don't like the transitions between the images/pages - it's fun at first, but it's annoying as you try to navigate through and have to wait for it to flicker away. I like the overall design and feel though: CSS is definitely not for me - I'm a flash guy.

I like what you have done with both of them. I have exposure manager and I have been looking at photobiz templates to possibly set up a site just for my pet photography. They have some really nice templates.
