Anyone using Coppermine Photogallery?

Is anyone using coppermine for their photo gallery? Do you like it?

I tried it once but was turned off by:
- the file size limit
- uploading and navigation were such a pain
- skinning wasn't exactly straight forward either

Only two positives that I can think of:
- Permission handling
- Free
