Web Site design help! - 07-31-2009, 03:20 PM

I know there are lots of good recommendations on here for place that design and host your site - but I can't find any good ones that will JUST design the site for me.

I already have my own hosting, can update nd modify my own pages and have my own domain name(s).

I DON'T want a flash site - I'd prefer a CSS site. I have a background in coding but it's been years since I've done any major designs. I know I can keep the site up and make minor modifications if needed, but all of the good photo design sites only seem to come as a complete hosting and maintanence package.

Any ideas?

templatemonster.com

you can buy a css site - or a flash site - or a xml site... or a admin based site... cheap, lots of options

As a freelance web designer, I can tell that you shouldn't look at firms, you should look at freelancers. Because firms have higher overhead, they need to get higher return on jobs, and a primary way to do that is to package other services such as logo design and hosting.

If you want to have a more individualized experience and still get a relatively good price, my advice is to look for an independent freelancer.

Here's my site: Redhale Web Design.
