If I click on your wedding album page, the image is pretty distorted.

Also, are you paying those artists royalties for using their songs?
Most are pretty famous.

I took a look under the hood, so to speak, and you've got decent metadata tags. Good for you! Most don't. But....

Kill the music, kill the music and also kill the music.

I hate music on a website and I leave...period. You have to think about your customers, not you. If I were a prospective client, you lost my business.

Froma design point I think this is a very good site. easy to navigate design looks good colors are a great combo everything works well. Music on apersonal note im not a fan of it on websites but to each their own..

and since someof that is copyrighted work I would suggest you look at http://audiojungle.net Royalty Free Music.. and at a great affordable prices that wont break the bank

Yeah, I agree with this. Please kill the music. I usually leave sites that play music immediately.

my only thought about the music is just like the comments made about photos in the Human form section. Many photographers don't like the "plastic" look. My experience is most customers love it. Remember your target is customers and not fellow photographers. The question is will customers leave your website because it has music or is it just annoying to photographers because they have seen and heard it a million times.

It's not just photographers.

Think about it like this. Will a customer leave because they (the owner) DON'T have music, I doubt it. I don't think I've heard any comments like "I wish there were music on this site...I'm out of here..."

Will a customer leave because they (the owner) HAVE music and they (customer) leaves? I've seen plenty of comments that absolutely hate music...and leave.

Just something to think about.

But...will the customer be more compelled to keep looking at the images because they are enjoying the music and it is setting to tone for the site and style?

A mediocre image can become a fantastic image to a customer when paired with the right song.

(tee hee hee...I'm sure the music debate is on TPF somewhere already)

All of the discussion about music is completely moot if the music is not legally licensed to be there.

If it is then I would still say to get rid of the music as a personal preference. It just seems superfluous.

Thanks for all the feedback guys - I guess the music debate could go on and on. I will take all comments into consideration as we continue to build on our photography business.

You may have been joking (and it's funny if you were), but mediocre images should be left off a Web site to begin with!

My comment is no reflection at all of the OP's work ... I haven't checked it out yet.

Well, obviously you should leave mediocre images off of your site, I was just trying to make a point about how music can influence a person's opinions about an image.

You can have a bunch of images of a baby in a slideshow and make $$$ during a sale....but, tie that same slide show with a total tear jerker mommy type song and the sale then becomes $,$$$.

Better comparison to make a point about the music?

I agree with projecting a slideshow in person and having fitting music. Burn a candle while you're at it, too. But I'm in the "no music" camp when it comes to Web sites. I'd at the least suggest an extremely conspicuous button to turn on/off the sound. If my images don't speak to potential clients, they aren't who I want to talk to!

Besides, most of my work has been word of mouth anyway.

Site looks nice, I like the jump page (instead of some guys who make you wade through a swamp just to get to "contact."

It may be to late, but I'm not keen on the ".net" and the name Lucky Pro. It implies that you're industry by luck, not by the skills you possess. I wish I would get lucky and a 5D Mk2 dropped on my doorstep, but I know I'm making the $ (not $$ quite yet) by skill. A cute story on the site about how you found the name would be better, kind of put a nice warm fuzzy feeling on it all.
