It seems like you've gotten lots of feedback on the blog/site issue so I won't add to that but I did want to comment that I really love the juxtaposition of the Great Dane with the dainty girls' room and the doll cabinet - brilliant!

After seeing some of this critique, and really evaluating my goals with my photography, I decided to do a complete overhaul. My domain is now The Modern Mutt, and it has its very own stand alone template. I've completely done away with the 'Images by Christopher Coy' crap, because that was SOOOO not working for me. I've also redesigned my blog, and whoever said that the background was too busy, I've taken their advice as well as inspiration from other blogs and simplified things. Its now a simple, clean, easy to read blog with big pictures. I've decided to keep music OFF of the website, since so many people oppose it, until I can fully afford Triple Scoop Music that undoubtedly inhances the viewing experience of my website. I am really excited about this new found clarity in my goals, and for the first time I'm not struggling about whether I like something or not.

I'd appreciate any further critique on the website, and the blog, as I have really been working hard on it the last few weeks.

Thanks!~

Wow, I don't know what to say. The site is a -HUGE- improvement. Well done.

Can you share the details of your template? Where did you get it, how was it delivered, how much it cost, etc.

I think I was the one that made comment about the busy BG but it was just my personal taste. Looking good though. Spell check you blog on the tug entry I saw a mistake. You dropped an "N" in dont on line two. I am sure that its do to the extra hours. Im not picking just happened to notice.

Thanks! I've really put a lot of hours, work, and thought into every aspect of it.

The template name is "Jackson" and its from portfoliositez. My blog is a self hosted wordpress blog with the "PhotoPressPro" theme.

I have my website through Portfoliositez.com. I pay $16 a month for my template and it comes with unlimited galleries, unlimited proofing galleries, unlimited subdomains, and so much more. The thing I like about it the most though is that it has an extremely user friendly admin page that is basically drag in drop for lack of a better description, and absolutely no coding involved. Best of all, their setup fees are usually less than $50, and I can change temlates anytime for just $20 per change.

Overall, I'm really quite happy about every aspect of my web presence now. It didn't cost me $250 like a ProPhoto theme would have, its clean simple and flows nicely, and I have A LOT of customization options open if I want to change the look in the future.
