Unlimited storage website?? - 05-13-2010, 09:41 PM

So I was thinking about using smugmug with the pro account for videos and photos, but I have noticed it takes forever to upload. Example, took about 20-30 minutes to upload a 50MB file. Does anyone know of places that are like smug, with the different layout, themes and that does unlimited photo and video?

Are you sure it's smugmug.com that's slowing you down? Have you checked the upload speed you're getting from your provider?

Typically your upload speeds will be much slower than your download speeds at a home connection. So yeah, I know that I am the slow link in that equation with smugmug.

Im getting 20.35 mbps d/l speed, and 1.8 mbps upload. When I upload a huge batch to Flickr, it zooms right along. I did 38 photos, at roughly 4mb each, and it took about 3-5 minutes
