Without a design rationale that's rather hard to do.

is this for a logo?

honestly, you'd need to see it in whatever context you're going to use it. personally, I'm not a fan of handwritten fonts, they alway look fake. I don't really like the "foreign" looking ones either. Script fonts have to be used right, on a logo, unless you're a bridal shop or something, I'd ditch them. Serif fonts can work good, but not ones with little swooshes and stars integrated into the cut. Honestly, I'd consider taking another look.

what's your personality like? do you consider yourself sophisticated? fun-loving? risk-taker?, etc... whatever you pick should reflect that. Fonts don't immediately create logos my by typing your name. In some cases, the type is the least invasive part of the design, in other it's the only part, in which case it should be less type, more art.

Yes for a logo, and this isnt the final design. This is my name as well as my website so it needs to be a part of the logo. So I need a font. This font is a bit like my personality, a bit free flowing but controlled. Thanks for your input. I am only an amature at this logo design thing and I dont really have the money to pay a pro to do it so.... off I go.

As far as context goes, well its a logo, so anywhere one would use a logo. Business cards, website, etc...

are you going to create a mark to go with the logo?

I usually start off simple, so I might experiment with some san-serifs, and build off that.

a lot of needles in the haystack, but this is a good place to start looking... dafont.com

re: freeflowing... have you considered handwriting or painting your name out, then scanning it?

you should try it, those logos can tend to feel very personal and not nearly as fake as the fonts people pass around.

I have a graphics tablet and I have a few real hand written signatures that I have played with. Yes it is my intention to have a mark with it. Trying not to go the "camera" line art route but I keep getting drawin to the idea.

try hand drawing it... even if you're not an illustrator, if you keep drawing it over and over, eventually you'll get one that looks cool.

and it doesn't have to be perfect, if you're personality it "free form" then it will just lend to it.
