Small eCommerce Website - Where? - 12-15-2010, 12:35 PM

I have set up many websites before. HTML, Joomla, WYSIWYG Editors, Flash - almost everything that's on the market.

However, what I'm now looking for is a small ecommerce website for a very good friend. Since I know how much work an ecommerce website can be and certainly don't want to be the maintenance man for it, I'm looking for some kind of "full service provider for dummies".
Like an online solution where even a regular soccer mom without any web developer skills could setup and maintain a very nice looking and full functional ecommerce website. She's making jewelry and she wants to sell her stuff online.
So I'm thinking about 2 or three pages plus online store, of course all in the same appealing design.

Any recommendations, tips, comments?

I know a few people that have used this: osCommerce, Open Source Online Shop E-Commerce Solutions

its open source, you skin it and run it. only maintenance would be updates, but I'm sure there's an easy button for that. if she sells using a service, she'll get bent over on fees and not make any money.

you can also use wordpress for that these days.

Thanks. I've used ZenCart before which is comparable to osCommerce. I'm afraid this would still be too complicated for her.
