Wordpress/MonoSlideShow Question - 01-04-2011, 08:48 PM

My website is being built with Wordpress, and I have a question someone can hopefully help me with.

For anyone with experience with MonoSlideShow: Do you know how to set the slideshow up to not have portrait images cut off at the top and bottom? The landscape pictures come across just fine, but not the portraits.

If you need to see for yourself, feel free to check out my website at J. Rachel Photography and please provide any CC you can think of!

Thanks in advance!
Jessica

with most of those galleries. it's best to make your image size the exact same size as the gallery. in the admin, you'll usually have options for the size. anyway, I use a template that's already at that size and just drop my portrait shots on a black background. I usually try to put two of them side by side.

personally, the only gallery setup I'll use is nextgen... I've tried just about all of them, nextgen has a lot of flexibility and options for you to customize. not to menetion, the albums setup/organization is pretty sweet.

just looked at your site. it looks like it's resizing your photos for you and causing the image quality to go way down. might have something to do with that ken burns effect.

check out my wife and I's site, we have a similar setup, but like I said, it's nextgen... liz & patrick photography
