BluDomain template but hosting somewhere else?

How many of you guys use BluDomain templates but hosting your website other than from BluDomain?

If so, are you having any problems with your website?

Stay away from BluDomain. Go with intothedarkroom or creative motion designs.

I use blu. I've bought over 5 sites from them, all hosted on our own server.

FYI.... Creative Motion Designs 'elite' templates are 1/2 off until January 31st. We just bought an elite template, which is their top of the line, along with a year of hosting for under $250!!!

And Bluedomains servers that are located in Florida crashed today for a while.

Freaking Bludomain... its server crash on the one day and morning that I decided to send promos to my client list.

i tired bluedomain about a year ago but the support was horrible. In my opinion a good support is worth every penny and you should always look for 24/7 support. My new webhosting provider offers 24/7 support.

IMHO, as long as you're in Texas you can't go wrong with Hostgator hosting. That being said if you buy a hosting/template package you're going to loose out in the end. Get cheap HG hosting, and then use a free, or even premium wordpress template, it will be much more economical in the end.

If one goes with a Wordpress template, how does one handle online sales, or private proofing? Seperate sites? I'm always looking for something better.......

I integrated PhotoCart with the wordpress site. But yes, you do need a "sales" solution.
