search term help - 04-02-2011, 07:41 PM

I have a small website design company. Most of the sites I have done have been for fishing/hunting guides. I've been asked to do a singe page website for a lady that wants to offer her back yard as a shoot location. As a newbie on this type of site I could use a little help. What kind of keywords and titles should I use for this site? What would you search for if you were looking for a shoot location what would you search? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Here are a few tips:
  • Find out her area of specialty
  • Use Google Keyword tool for research
  • Make sure to use "exact" searches on the left
  • Look for low competition high traffic keywords
  • The page title, description, heading and if possible, the url, should include the keywords
  • Title no longer than 65 characters, description no longer than 160
  • Use no more than 10-15 keywords and place in order of importance. Google ignores everything after that.
