Generally what I do is find a web page that I like and recreate it myself. My parents had someone "design" their web site. Really all the author did is drop some blobs using Frontpage. I really, really, really, dislike publishing software. Way too much junk and all it does is slow down the loading. iWeb is the same way. Sorry Apple, you are no better than Micro$oft.

What I did was to keep the style, which my parents like, but trim it down to it essence. The site is now a contact style sheet and four web pages as opposed the countless number of files the publisher created.

Here is my Dad's site.

If you find something you like, I might be able to recreate it.

Here are free website templates. I've used two already and they are clean coded, fast loading and good looking IMO.

Thanks. I can write my own site, but I dont like the way the galleries look. :/ And I'm kinda busy: photos, baby, book and all. Doing it myself would suck.

I'll check those out. Thank u!

I'm using RapidWeaver on Mac ... real quick to edit and if you use a basic template it's not too slow to load
