Seems wordpress is a common choice, just so template driven to me. I would really like to just have my own domain and do something simple and elegant as noted above, but cash runs short right now.

Look at mine - it is a hybyrd type thing

The main site is Joomla @ Product Photography, Commercial photography and Event photography ... I am debating on migrating that to J!1.6 or move the whole shooting match over to the wordpress site
