SmugMug?? - 04-22-2009, 04:28 PM

I have a situation. My web hosting service I've had for almost a year is not doing what I want it to do.
I want galleries, and I want to be able to categorize them. Does anyone know if smugmug charges for more than a couple galleries? Also I'd like an about me page or section that I can write a little about myself and my photography. So....any help would be great.

Thanks.

Sharna,

I love my Smugmug account. They will let you make unlimited folders, and even the basic account that they have, has a section for you to put somthing about you.
So that people will know who they are dealing with (or at least whose page they are looking at).

You can use this coupon code for $5 off your first year.

If that doens't work, let me know. I have another way to get you that coupon too.

Smugmug is great! I really do love it. Try it, you won't be sorry.

Sharna,
I use Smugmug to handle my customer proofs and then let my customers place their print orders directly on the site (I have a "pro" account). I have customized it so that when people go into their galleries, it has the same look and feel as my main website.

Thanks Alan! I'll be sure to hit you up before I sign up then. :D

Roger, I plan on getting the mid grade account for now.

Thanks you two. I really was impressed with the layout but I wasn't sure what was included. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I'm using SmugMug as well, still trying to learn how to customize it myself (the whole computer illiterate thing works against me).

You get a 20% discount by being a CPF member, the code still worked for me when I signed up in January.

Sharna, I call it CRS too.

If you follow This link and then use CPF as the code, that should do it. :w00t:
