Talking New "Reportage & Personal projects" website open! - 01-04-2012, 03:01 PM

Hello everybody, it has been a while since I posted images here - been very busy lately with many different projects; one of these was/is the refresh of my website, which is now split into different sections - one of these is dedicated to reportage(s) and personal projects: here it is, for your consideration:

Vieri Bottazzini Photographer | Reportage & personal projects

Hope you'll enjoy, there is more to come but since it will be a while since I'll be able to update it significantly I thought I'd go ahead and open it.... otherwise, I am pretty sure it would have never seen the light of day :D

best regards,

Hello Vieri!

My suggestions for your website:

- If possible, get the portfolio items from the homepage to link to the actual portfolio pages.
- If possible, get a blog and create more content. I like your .PDF files, you should create pages for those items.
- Your website doesn't have an HTML mirror, this means that Google is not able to index your pages, which means less visitors.
- If possible get a Facebook Like button.
- If possible, make more links to your contact page, especially inside the portfolio items.

There are some disadvantages in using flash websites, the SEO and the incompatibilities with mobile devices but also the lack of flexibility.

Your work is great!

Nice work. I really enjoyed the piece about Arcosanti. It's a very special place. Every time I visit it is a little harder to leave. Perhaps it is fortunate that my wife does not share my opinion of the place.
