Simpleviewer + Flash player 9 = problems? - 04-10-2007, 08:05 AM

Alright, I seem to be back @ square one with SV and flash issues.

On my home computer I noticed my SV galleries weren't showing anymore in IE 6.0 and Flash player 7, so I updated to Flash 9 and it still won't show. Loads fine on FF.

Came to work, here I'm using IE 6.0 and Flash 7 and it works. Loads fine on FF too.

So what am I missing??

And on another note : is there any code I can add to my html that will display my site at max width/height based on the display resolution the user has set?

I prefer its at 1280 but I know that's unlikely so I'm revising the site for 1024x768 since that's the most common...800x600 isn't in my vocab..sorry.

Depend on your existing cell designs, you can get away with using width value by percentage.

Or use javascript to resize cell width by detecting users screensize but again, still depend on your existing design

By the way, your simpleviewer loaded fine on Opera, Safari, Netscape, FF, IE 6 and 7. May be your home station has it own issue.

Flash is catchy, but i always recomand add alternate html pages if users having issues viewing it. Or simply avoid one...

do you have any anti-virus programs, anti-spyware, firewalls ect...that could be blocking something?

I have updated to flash player 9 as well and I can not view the simple viewer galleries on my home PC, but its locked down pretty tight.
