Portal Page - Scary looking?

lol! No, its been bugging me. I thought it looked kind of goth, a little dark and serious, and then you hit the home page with white and bright colors. The site has a bipolar personality as is. Blu doesnt let me do too much to make the portal page look like the main site. I'll have to play with it a bit. Thanks for your candor. Its appreciated.

I know you're asking about the pp, but I was looking thru your site and one thing that bugged me a "weeeeeee" bit was your investment page. On my browser, the info is cutting the groom right in half. I'm not sure if thats the way its supposed to look, but comparing it to your questions page it seems off (and not as easy to read).

One suggestion for the portal page is maybe a change in not only the current look but the color of the background. How about using the russet color that comes up on your first image under the family gallery? Its so pretty and such a strong color, but not "bright" and I think w/ the right image would look GREAT w/ your site. I think the perfect bridal pic to use w/ that background for the portal would be image #5 on your gallery (bride at the door at Dunvegan).

Thanks Erykah! I was trying to move away from solid black. NYer in me I guess. lol. My other site (for bridal) is all black. Its got the drama. lol. I like this site better, but it still needs some tweaking. Thanks for your help!

The BW is always cool and never goes out of style BUT your entry page has NOTHING in common with the two pages they link to. This may not bug others but it bugs the heck out of me. Makes me think it's an afterthought.
