What's wrong with my website?

The slide show isn't running smoothly. When it is brought up it has a long delay, followed by a flash of a picture, then some more delay and by like the 6th picture it is running right. www.aprilhendrick.com
Is there a way you can upload it to make it run better?
Did I possibly mess up the code somewhere?
Any computer geeks know anything to help me?

It is a flash website. The slideshows are each separate slideshows and it pulls the pictures out of a corresponding folder, each picture is labeled 1,2,3 chronologically with a text doc that simply states number of pics & seconds to show.
Any clue? I'm stumped!...I've been learning all this as I go along so don't amuse I would of known about anything!

It loaded quickly, but the first slide on each show is very short. The subsequent slides are paced well.
Can't help you with the fix, but thought you'd like to know that the site is working pretty well, just not perfectly.

REALLY!? That's soo Odd I run Firefox 3.0.2 and it's terribly blippy.
Maybe it's a connection issue on my end?...or my computer....interesting.

It works great here for me too. No issues at all. Not even the previously mentioned issue. Firefox 3.0.3

Also, I want to commend you on the music. Normally I hate music on sites I visit, but yours isn't obtrusive as most are...and...you have a very convenient switch to turn it off.

Thanks! I'm glad you said that, I've been thinking I'm sick of that song now....but most other songs make the site load much slower....that would be worse than the song

You're probably just sick of it because you keep checking your site. Much better if it's tolerable for clients.
