Flow posing - how to get fast, good looking poses for bride & groom - 12-05-2009, 02:08 AM

For those not comfortable with posing...only thing that annoys me is his finger-snapping, makes the whole thing sounds cheap :) other than that, I picked up a few tips from his method.

Doug is a talented individual - many people can not handle his strong New Yorker style where he seems rude but it is just his "way" due to where he lives. He is humble - nice and very talented in the posing area.

Between him and Fong they lead the business in posing. If you struggle in this area I would suggest hitting one or both up when they speak/teach I feel it would be worth the time.

Thanks for posting the videos.

It is a good video. Learn what you can and ignore the rest.

Yeah - this is good. The parts where you want the bride to be shorter was comical - and a good tip.

Thanks Viet, if only I can replay his tips while on a gig hahaha.

I wasn't bothered much by the finger snapping, I guess he was just making a point. Now, if he was shouting SHAZAM, that would be a different story hehehe

He definitely knows his stuff, and I wasn't bothered by the finger snapping or anything else. If I shot weddings, I'd watch this video over and over again until I had at least a dozen poses memorized. Good info!

The finger snap was a Monte Zucker thing.

Amazingly good. I have a wedding on the 19th - I'm going to use it!

We have his little card thingamabob... I was looking at it yesterday as a matter of fact. Pretty neat and looks like it would streamline the process. Gonna go check out the vid...
