Tagalong Needed for Sat June 26th Wedding in Lawton OK

Hello,

I need a tag along for an upcoming wedding on Saturday June 26th in Lawton, OK. The ceremony will start at 6:30PM. I'm still waiting to hear back from the bride to find out what time it will end. I know this is such a far drive for everyone about 3 1/2 hours from Dallas. If you are interested PM me along with your portfolio website. In return for assisting me you get to use the pictures for your portfolio.

We will not ride together since I will spend the night with my family in Lawton.

I am sorry but I just have to ask....

What is it your looking for? You say tag-along, but then you say "in return for assisting me", and then you ask for a portfolio? Are you wanting someone to shoot, assist, or tag a long?

So I ask...

1) What will my scope of work be at the wedding? What do you want me to do for you at the wedding?

2) Why would I want to drive to OK? What kind of wedding is it? Is there something unique or interesting about it?

Wow, Lawton. I use to live in Fort Sill. I think I still have a few friends there in Lawton.

Good luck finding yourself a "tag-along" ... but I agree with Warren here. Why call it a tag-along if you need our portfolio. Sounds like you are looking for a second shooter.

"Tag-along's" to me are those who come along for the ride and learn the tricks of the trade from the person they are tagging-along with.

Yea, not sure I would drive 7 hours and give you my pictures for nothing (or images for my portfolio). If you are relying on the tag-alongs pictures, then you should probably pay them. If I offer a tag-along position, it is first come, first serve. A 2nd shooter, I would look at their portfolio and equipment. Also, if I charge the client for 2 shooters, then the 2nd is most definitely paid, because I expect them to be professionals.

Thanks all! I'm just looking for inexperience person to help out out assisting with lighting, bags and some shooting. A great way for a tag along to learn.

tukaniray - I used to live there when I was little. All my family is still there and most of them work in Fort Sill. I still drive down there at least once a month to see the fam bam. It was a very small town. Now it's growing really fast.

Ziffel - Thanks! My sister drove home from Dallas on Monday and the storm tore off the bumper of her car. I don't know how that's possible but it did!
