Anyone know of a lense rental store in Houston? My 16 - 35L started acting funny on a shoot last night and I'm wanting to rent a back up.

I know HCE does not, but I don't remember if the co-op does.

I've also heard good things about both these online sites:
Your Source for Camera Equipment rental online through the mail
LensRentals.com - Rent Nikon Lenses and Cameras<--looks like they only do nikon gear though; sorry no help there.

PS: On the first link, they are in Houston.
From the FAQ on their site:
Quote:
Can I pick up the equipment in person to skip out on the shipping fees?
Maybe. We do not have a storefront (no way to keep the rates this low if we had one), but if you live in Houston, TX we may be able to work something out. Send us an email if you are interested.

+1 for Lensrental.com I've rented from them several times. The last rental I had my wife forgot to get to drop the lens in the mail on the due date. That night I got a reminder email and got in the mail the next day and was not charged for an extra days rental.

Photorentalsource is pretty awesome. Their customer service is really good, and being able to drop off at their drop off location is great. They do have a limited selection online, but shoot them an email to make sure they do or do not have what your looking for in stock. I recommended them to my friend and she got an 85L that I hadn't seen on their website.

I used photorentalsource and they had A+ customer service and I liked the fact that if you're local in Houston they will allow you to rent for a weekend as opposed to an entire week. I was able to meet them at Starbucks by my day job to pick up and drop off the equipment I rented. Great to work with!
