Not sure if I count since this weekend will be my one and only solo wedding. I like being #3 shooter.

Seeing some of you have voted you are the in the "less than $1000" and "$1000-1999" ...what are you including in your package? And are you doing this full time?

I offer a $800 shoot and burn, 6 hours. I plan on upping my prices next year though.

Part-time for the moment, but it's my only personal income (staying at home with a baby for a while).

I wish we were in the "higher-end" crowd, but it seems we are more of the middle of the road. We created three "packages" based on clients desires from the previous year...raised prices a tad, and most choose our middle "package".

No packages. Basic coverage is $1100 and includes 4 hours of coverage by two photographers, online gallery for 60 days. Everything else is added on. If we really like the couple we add in a complimentary engagement session.

This year started at $2200 which is 6 hours with two shooters, wedding day images on a disk and an engagement session + $50 credit. Next year is starting at $2500 for the same package. I am a full time photographer.

$2500.00 is the starting package (though I made some minor adjustments with the economy this year) with 2 photogs. I have a couple of other packages above this, and Ala'carte pricing for really intimate weddings.

I am full time.

I put in a $2,000 package since I moved to SA. It's popular, but only 5 hours and DVD.

The economy only sucks if you let it suck. My booking are a lil slower but my prices are way higher so I'm not tripping.

My lowest is $1500: solo for 6 hours, medium res files and an engagement session. The largest is $3000, includes 2 photogs, e's, b's, and high res files.

Personally, I know I'm lower-mid range, but afraid to raise because of equipment-barrassment.

I work 30hrs a week to supplement business income.

What does the equipment have to do with what you charge? One of the best photographers Jeff Ascough shot with a 30D and 5D for along time.

High end photographers do not tend to hang around forums ;-)

^ I've always wondered why that is? Do they not have the time since they're so busy? Or is it a snob thing where you're too good to slum it in the forums? I don't understand it. I know several high end photogs that don't bother with forums. Unless they do and use a different alias and never post images.
