Looking for a venue for a bride. - 01-11-2011, 09:30 AM

I have a bride that is looking for a venue close to Joe T. Garcia's in Ft. Worth for her wedding. She doesn't want a church and want's it to be a place she can host a cocktail hour and a wedding.

Does anyone have suggestion? The wedding will be in March. Thanks....

Joe T's itself could do it I'm sure in the gardens. Same with Los Vaqueros. They have a back garden area that I bet could be set up. I shot a reception there. It has some nice photo ops and the food was delicious.

JOe T's has a building that used to be a chapel. Still very nice. Look up their web site.
Also look up the Marine theater

There is a "church" in the stockyard, behind the candy store. I think the candy store is the Candy Barrel. Call the stockyards management, they can help you.

There is a place on the road that runs along the stockyards can't remember the name but there is a heritage type village that has weddings and receptions. You might have to drive by . It's right around the train track.

I came back to mention this too. It's called "Cowboy Church". There are also a lot of banquet rooms in the same spot that can be rented out for the ceremony and reception too.
