Retouch service - 02-07-2011, 08:10 AM

Hey, I have a bride who is wanting to find out about retouching being done on her ceremony images. I will put what she is looking for down below. Anyone know of a good company that can do this? I told her there would be a charge.

Hi Leslie!
I was wondering... is there any way that you can edit the photos of the ceremony that have the blue backdrop, so that it's not blue? The florist was supposed to just drape some blue at the top for a touch of color, and instead covered the entire wall with the blue. I wish I had known it was like that on the day of so I could have done something about it... now that it's too late, the blue really bugs me. Is there a way to edit the shots with blue so that they just have the marble Meyerson backdrop?

Millers has done some extensive editing for me at a reasonable rate. You don't have to get prints to use their editing service.

retouchup.com is awesome! I like their one price approach, and fast turn-around. They are the same company as HollywoodFX and are reputable in the industry.

Thanks, guys! I was trying to think of the name of that company, Warren. I've heard they do great work.

FYI
About Us - ReTouchup.com
"Our artists are located in Lima, Peru. .....there's a cost savings because of the difference in economies."

Some may have a problem with this. I know we've been down this road so often on this forum. Of course YMMV. : )

I use them for all of my "Braces Removal" and the work has been stellar, and problem free... oh and I was aware that they were in Lima, and I am ok with giving them my work on occassion

Mark, I know you like to keep it "here at home" and respect that

No problem. My post was meant to inform, not to judge. Perhaps one's client would have a problem if they knew.

Lord knows the GD industry has been changed by globalization. We all must adapt. BTW, I even bookmarked them myself. : )

So glad you asked this question... I have a similar issue with a bride who disliked the way her dress fit on top!
