What makes you keep going on the days you just want to bury your head in the sand?

I'm having a bit of an ostrich day today... working with someone I feel is not going to be happy no matter how hard I work. All I have a this point is prayer and positive thinking. I don't need any tough love or drill seargents, just some kind motivation.

I find that thinking positively about the things that happen around me in my life at the time keeps my mind of other things and makes the day go by faster!

Remembering that I work for myself and no one can ever take my skill from me! I work hard so that I can stay home with my girls. Remember why you got into this business and why you loved it when you started! :)

If all else fails post a picture of Hawaii over your desk and work for that dream vacation!

If there is still time, offer to help her find someone else and cancel her contract. That usually snaps them out of it or they are happy to move on. I've had it go both ways and never regretted loosing the business or avoiding a bridezilla.

There is no time. I've decided I'm being a big fat baby, and I need to move forward with a positive outlook. This bride was working on a very abbreviated schedule, and seems generally displeased with just about everything. I spoke with her coordinator about my feelings, and was assured that it's just the way the bride is, and that I shouldn't worry.

So i have decided to just do the best i can, know that it's the best i can do, that it will be beautiful, and that I will really focus on greeting everyone with a warm smile and happy attitude when I work with them.

Basically, I'm gonna sass my gut feelings...lol.

Thank you all : )
