San Antonio bridal ideas help! - 06-11-2011, 05:07 PM

hey gang
I'm shooting a wedding for a friend who's on a budget. We're doing bridals in July. She wants indoor and her mother will pay if a booking is needed. I don't live in San Antonio and am clueless on locations.

Can anyone help us with ideas?

I really appreciate it!

Greg

You need ideas?
Maybe the best thing you could do to help her with photography, is to step aside as the photographer and contribute to her budget so she could hire a pro who doesn't need to solicit ideas.

Easy now. If you can't offer help to what the original poster was asking for then just politely step aside and move on.

The poster has already made an arrangement with the friend and it's not our place to question that... But we can offer help and suggestions in regards to locations in san antonio since as mentioned he does not live there and that is what he is asking for in the first place. Plain and simple.

On a budget, and indoor locations (anywhere) do not always go hand in hand.

I am assuming McNay would be one of the cheapest Photagraphy at the McNay

Other locales:

Hotel Valencia
Marriott Rivercenter (some cool spots in the lobby)
St Anthony Hotel (some say it is haunted)
Koehler House
Sunset Station

Depending on the vibe you are looking for, there's always the Mercado and the missions.

Greg, I'd consider the missions, even the Alamo.
I don't know the costs but I'm sure you could call and find out.
The memories of having it done at the Alamo or one of the other missions will last a lifetime.
We'd all be anxious to see those photos....:-)
