How many finished images do you deliver/generate for a wedding?

Small wedding?

Large Wedding?

Traditional mexican wedding?

Indian wedding weekend? LOL

Just wondering what most folks expect when you put your package together.

I say min of 50-75 per hour of coverage. You can always over deliver if you have better shots (I did 565 shots for a 4 hour wedding in April).

75 to 100 per hour. Once shot 42 hours for an Indian wedding and delivered 4500 finished images.

It depends on what is happening. More dancing=more pictures. Generally between 1500-2500. Least=800. Most=3600.

it varies. 75-100 per hour sounds about right.

Somewhere between 900-1400 images, depends on how much is going on and how many shooters I have.

Between 75-100/hr is what we provide with two shooters.

Oh dear! I haven't provided the 75/100 per hour ratio!
I've photographed 2 weddings and in both cases averaged providing approx 70 photos per hour... both weddings were quite small (max 150 people) and brides were thrilled with their photos.
But still.. should I be providing more photos per hour?
I take about 250 pics per hour but cut them right down when going through the edits and selection.

Just as one photographer? That is a lot.

When we started out, we were giving the b&g about 350 images total for 6-8 hrs from 2 photographers.

Interesting metric. I agree, getting that one perfect shot is preferable to 100 almosts :). But 70-100 quality images an hour... More than 1 a minute... Is the hour that busy, or is it that burst of a moment you don't want to miss?

Yes- as a solo photographer... am quite a happy snapper!
But still have much to learn. For the most part I think I'm just really lucky and my camera is fab. I don't like using a tripod (though I use it for the posed family shots) and run around alot.

Ours are planned shots. We never burst. But, mind you, we are 2 photographers.

The hour can be busy- there is alot of constant activity. I sometimes take 6 or 7 photos in quick succession when there is interaction amongst the guests etc. Also- take a few quick shots of the b&g together to get the right 'love/adoration' look between them.
I don't want to miss anything...

I seem to have interpreted your question differently. Are the posters talking about "finished" images, as in print ready, or are they talking about lightly edited. There could be a difference.
