Oh wow.. Why the heck was he doing that in the first place. I see a 70-200 that he could've used instead. He really didn't think about this.

I have seen that on this forum a few times before but I don't really mind it being posted again. Ever since this video first came out I have been 10X more carefull about looking behind me if I have to back up with a camera. Of course, most photographers would never have been doing what he was doing. Who wants to be at a wedding where you can't see the B&G because the photographer is two feet in front of them the whole time?

Maybe the problem was instead of a second shooter watching his back he should have had a second snorkel.

I saw a wedding photographer do this but the fountian was not as deep and I did not have a video camera. It can happen to anyone.
