first...stop corresponding on facebook. direct them to contract you directly with any inquiries, problems, etc.

are you a member of ppa? if not, you should be. they are hands down, great at dealing with these issues.

at this point, i would document everything. discussion dates, what was discussed, phone conversations, everything.

compare that against your contract -

tell her no - she has received everything she contracted for. Again state if there is a problem with the album, the only solution will be to send it back to you for inspection by the manufacturer to insure proper handling was followed, ie, not left in the back of a hot car. Once the matter is investigated, you will reply with the findings and replace or deny replacement - that's up to you. do NOT let someone run over you. do NOT apologize for anything - unless you truly made a bonehead mistake.

can i get another amen for the following? haha

remove your post from this board...it's google searchable. if you would like to get some opinions/support, an indexable message board is not a good option. i know your post sounds generic enough in content, but someone with adequate sleuthing powers could figure it out.

contact another photographer in your area, pick up the phone and make a new friend, buy them some coffee and doughnuts for their trouble or perhaps lunch. there are some really experienced people up in the dfw area that i'm sure would be able to lend you some advice.

I would not consider the sister a valid point of contact. Until you hear from the actual customer, you have no action items in your court.

Sara, I feel for you...
Maybe they were filming "Godzilla Bride" and you were not told

Janet is correct. You should stick to the agreement made and not divert from it. Once you do they will squeeze you dry. Don't let that happen.

And maybe it's good they find this thread and see your side of the story

Frankly, I would have refunded (at the very least) a portion of her money back and kept everything else.
