Encouraging Interaction - 09-20-2011, 01:25 PM

Would like your opinions...

I have facebook fanpages for each of my brands (Weddings, seniors, families), have a fairly updated blog, and a monthly newsletter that connects with my blog and facebook. I run contests and drawings and promptly respond to emails. I post sneak peeks of every session within 24 hrs of the session. I also friend anyone on Facebook that I have had contact with. So, why am I getting NO interaction with potential clients/followers?

What do you all do to encourage interaction with your followers/potential clients?

Wow that's a lot to keep up with on three different pages. When you say "No interaction", do you mean nobody "Likes" or Comments on photos? Or that you get no participation in contests and drawings?
How do your weekly facebook page updates look? How many impressions are you getting per post per page?
These stats are a good place to see what posts get the most attention, and allow you to tailor your future posts for maximum impact.

I'm not sure how many "Likes" each of your page has, but I would think having only one page that has all three of those catagories might be beneficial. I could be wrong though.
Just my $.02

I had the same issue - then I posted images from the magnolia fires, when I rode for two days with a group of firefighters, on my company fb page and got 250 likes and over 100 shares in less than 3 days... my conculsion? You have to have something compeling on your site for people to want to like your page and interact with you... what we do on a day to day is not that compeling for most people.... btw I am getting about 3-5 likes per day now because of these images... I have had request for senior photos and a wedding... so I am hoping this will turn into something more for me...
