Preferred Album size - 07-26-2007, 11:43 AM

I would like to know what is your preferred album size for your clients. Do you prefer a square or rectangle book? Is one easier to design than the other? Thanks for any input.

Because of my design style, I prefer horizontal rectangle books...but that's just me :-)

I like to add captions/lyrics/prose and create sidebars for those...

I prefer the square, just because the dimensions stay the same whether you do a 5x5 or a 20x20.

I was leaning to square just because it is different. Not sure if it really is better. I could see a large horizontal landscape book being very nice when you add panorama photos. Time to play around with each I suppose.

12x12 for the couple
8x8 for the parents
I'm going to take the 8x11 out of my list of products 'cause it's too different to design for (and I like making 8x8's that match the 12x12)
