I am processing a bridal session from last weekend...there are tons of great shots, but I love this one...but I can't figure out how I love it...
At any rate...should I show it to her color? or one of the "antique" washes? vignette or no vignette? I've already tossed out the black and white version -- it was wonderful, but I thought the antique washes looked better. I just can't decide if it looks right for this image, though...HELP... | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Not sure if it works for your needs but I love the processing and the overall feel it gives when I, the viewer, look at the image.
Nice job! | | | |

To me it's a personal taste issue. I'd show her your variations and let her pick.
My personal preference is for the first one with color.

I love #1 because of the vibrant red in the roses, but the difference in the skin tones in the face and neck/chest bother me...JMO..
beautiful photo

I like them all, but if I had to pick a favorite I'd day #1 for sure!
Try vignetting the background on #1 and see what you think.

Thanks to everyone...apparently, there was a good reason I couldn't make a decision!! LOL...
I'm going to show her the color and the vignetted one...but after looking at this for 24 hours, I think the vignetted one really fits the feel of the image better...
I do appreciate everyone's honesty and input...thanks!!!!

Annette, I hope you don't mind but I've been learing how to do this and yours was the perfect
photo to practice on. I can't image her not liking any of the photos you have presented, so, to make it more difficult for her to pick you may try this one as well. I'd like to see more images from the bridal.

I love #3 (not like, LOVE). The pose, the hair, the beautiful bride, and the processing that gives is a glamorous look and focuses the viewer directly on her. Great job!

1 and 3 look very good. The vignette works well.
I think you will like the full color one just as well if you tone down the blue and cyans at the bottom. The Cyans and Blues take away from the warmth of the rest of the photo.
Go easy on the dress though as taking too much color out will flatten the details.

All are well done but image 3 is my favorite. I agree with showing the bride both image 1 and 3. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
