Name of person: Chantal Brown
Type of wedding: Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception
# of hours: 6
Equipment (was it good enough for the job): Yes
Professionalism: Good
Quality of work: Nice outdoor work, needed some help on proper balance of ambient and flash indoors, but once I gave her some pointers, she improved. VERY open to taking advice and help.
Would you work with them again (be honest) and why....: I would, probably more likely for an outdoor wedding versus an indoor one until she has more experience. But, she was very nice and easy to get along with, and acted professionally.

Name of person: Casey Lee
Type of wedding: Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception
# of hours: 6
Equipment (was it good enough for the job): For the most part, but needs a stronger flash
Professionalism: Very good
Quality of work: Considering he had zero wedding experience, I think he did a very good job.
Would you work with them again (be honest) and why....: Yes, because he was helpful, good natured, and I think he has talent already.

Great second shooter that you need to hire, except for when I need him. - 07-05-2011, 07:43 AM

Name of person: Michael McKinney
Type of wedding: Catholic
# of hours: 7.5
Equipment (was it good enough for the job): Yes Canon 1dsm3
Professionalism: Very Professional and communicates great with clients
Quality of work: Very nice, Artistic
Would you work with them again (be honest) and why.... Of course I would. He is everywhere that I need for him to be to capture images i need. I don't need to second guess his work.

This is being done so we can know what to expect when hiring someone as well as letting the person know how they are doing and if improvement is needed. No personal attacks, just honest constructive critiques

Yes I would. She was very sweet and professional. She took some very artistic shots but did not overshoot (I didnt have to wade through thousands of misdirected pictures!!!) She got the key events. Also, I had some suggestions for next time and she was very open and receptive. Great overall photographer and person.

Phisch - Mercedes Morgan
Several weddings,
8 hours
5dmkii, fast glass
Extremely Professional
Great work, great ideas
I would, and have, hired her back several times and would (and plan to) continue to use her if she is available!

I've worked with about 10-15 photogs that I've found on this site, not sure if they are all actively looking, but if they are (and you see this) I'd be happy to leave a review.

Quality of work: Amazing - and as it just happened yesterday - I'm not even all the way through everything.
Would you work with them again (be honest) and why.... Absolutely - he's knows his equipment, he knew things about my brand that I didn't know, and he worked really hard. I don't even know if he's interested in doing second shooting for anyone - but I would be honored to work with him again.

I second this - my first wedding was my FIRST wedding... yes, I was daring, it was a freebie and they knew I had no experience, this was in 2009. Lonnie second shot for me and was fabulous, he was teaching me all sorts of things.
