Getting laid off main job anyone need second shooter?

Well looks like the company I work for is about to go under and everyone is getting laid off. With the job market and economy like it is right now I need to find some income coming in while looking for a job. Also would like to look into helping out at a studio if anyone has an opening.. I have taken ecent college photography courses and scheduled to take more in the fall. I am really just looking to help part time, or do contract work. I know we are all photographers here and looking for work all the time, but I thought I would at least put this out there and see what might come about.

Yep, I work for a Financial company that buy car loans. We lost our main backer Citi Group. and since we are secondary finance our market is tough right now. Were are all still employed right now but who knows what the next few days holds? But I am wanting to find extra work anyway so I posted this in hopes someone would need a second shooter or help with shoots, possibly contract work in a studio. Anything would be helpful!
