Williams Tower Water Fall - 05-28-2008, 08:54 AM

You know, I have a bride that wanted her bridals done at the Williams Tower Water Fall. After finally finding the correct person to talk to at Hines Properties, they just sent me the the official rules. In short.....

They do allow photography there (Bridals) but are now requiring a fee of $250 for one hour and you must make a reservation ten days in advance.!

Private property so they can do as they wish, but it's really getting hard to find "public" places that that are worthy of bridal photography.

If anyone wants a copy of the full rules, send me a pm and I'll forward the document.

I haven't shot there in a while because there were so many Quincenera's being shot there, but that is drastic!

...and maybe that's the reason!

After a while, private property owners (and even public parks) get trampled by the masses of people and they have to do something.

Ever seen how disrespectful to public property some people are? Now, mulitply that by hundreds times 365 days a year...get the picture? (pun intended)

that's what I was thinking
and that was one of the reasons I stopped using the place. I remember seeing all the traffic and I guess Hines thought enough was enough
