Wedding Pricing - 07-13-2008, 10:13 PM

I am looking for some new ideas in wedding pricing. I an not so interested in the amounts, but in some organizational and package ideas. I will explain our current pricing. Perhaps it will help someone.

Our current pricing is posted on our website www.sinklierstudios.com, but it basically consists of an amount of time, a credit towards add-ons, and an album (i.e. 5 hrs of wedding coverage, a 10x10 album, a dvd slideshow of the images and $1000 of credit to be used towards items such as eng or bridal portraits, parents' albums, etc. for $4000).

We orginally went with the credit towards items because everyone always wanted to change our package. "Can I trade the 16x20 portrait for an extra hour of photography?"

I am interested in any ideas.

Cory, that's pretty much what we do also. We have ours broken down into wedding day only which we call Wedding Collections then we have wedding day plus engagement and/or bridal sessions and portraits which we call Wedding Packages.
