I have a wedding in the Victoria area (Inez to be exact) on November 15. The bride, groom and the rest of their families are having a hard time trying to think of nice parks, rustic buildings or places of interest outdoors to do bridal party portraits. I haven’t done a wedding in that area so I am clueless.

We're looking for nice parks, old rustic barns/interesting buildings, waterscapes, etc.

Thanks!

Not sure about Inez but there are some nice areas in Victoria. May need to check with the locations for photography requirements. I have shot around there when walking around and no one said anything but I was just shooting for fun as well. You should look at DeLeon Park downtown by the courthouse. Nice shaded park with Gazebo and the trees are typically lighted at night. St. Mary's is across the street and might make for an interesting background. Also talk to the owners at Fossati's there as well. There is also and old grist windmill and steam engine there close to downtown. I have seen some wedding party and engagements shots done at the McNamara house on Liberty that were really nice. Riverside park, Saxet Lakes, Victoria CC and Colony Creek CC should all have good waterscapes.

Good luck on the wedding and hope it goes well for you.

Thanks! I'll forward these on to my clients for their feedback.
