EVENT ALREADY HAPPENED: I Need 10 - 12 Photographers for 1/24/2009!

So, I have a crazy idea, and I have sold my client on the idea.

Her reception is at The Hotel Za Za in Houston, and we are going to create a once in a lifetime shot.

First Item: Two police motorcycle escort

Second Item: 1937 Rolys Royce

Third Item: Red Carpet going from the car to the front doors.

Fourth Item: Red Velvet Rope Barricades on either side of the red carpet.

Fifth Item. 10 - 14 Photographers, half on either side of the red carpet. The photographer that gets the most pictures of the bride and groom, using flash, while the couple is on the red carpet entering the reception will receive a $100 bonus!

Fifth Item: I will be on a very tall ladder, on the opposite side of the car with a fish eye to capture the scene.

Fifth Item: Your images need to be delivered to me the night of the event.

Each photographer that agrees to participate will receive $150 for a thirty minute contract.

Solaris Studios retains all copyrights. All photographers will be able use their images for marketing purposes only. The resale of the images is not allowed.

The couple will exit the car, and perform a number of different poses, so there will be ample time to get shots.

The date is January 24th. Arrival time is approximately 8:45 - 9:00.

Each photographer will be provided a compact flash card from the studio.

Payment: Payment will be delivered at the event, in cash, upon your submission of your flash cards. The $100 bonus will be awarded the following week.

We want tons of flash photography. People with external batteries attached to their flash for faster recycle times are highly recommended.

Awesome! I'd like to help but it happens to be the same day as our anniversary. I'm thinking you probably are looking for more local people anyway. Still, sounds like a fun thing to do. I would think you would get plenty of people wanting to join the fun. Good luck!

Listen folks. This doesn't require a ton of experience. I need bodies with good cameras and flashes going off. MDI Video will be there as well, so the more flash the better it will look in the video.

Sounds REALLY fun! And I WOULD be in...but I already have a paid traveling event to shoot a special Bridal in NOLA! Bummer!!!

Have fun! And...good idea!!! WOW!!

A couple of tips for you.

Put a couple of other photographers with you to shoot a little closer in. Also, maybe one of them shoot with a slow shutter to catch some of the star burst from the flashes. Man, I really wish I could do this...perfect for my D3 and external battery pack. Plus, I shoot with two cameras...and would be firing both off at her coming down the carpet!!!
