Donna :: Handy - 2009 12 06 - 12-11-2009, 05:04 AM

This is one of those weddings that I forgot to bring some redbulls with me. 3rd consecutive wedding in a week, and it started at 5:30AM, that's right 5:30 in the morning, don't know what I was thinking It was like the 08 08 08 wedding month last year, it seemed everyone rushed to get married in the same week for some weird reasons.

Tech. note: everything shot with 16-35 & 135 on 5D, flash in various positions.
Ring shot done with Kenko ext. tube.

Good job especially for starting out 5:30 in the am. I've done lots of things at that hour but a wedding is not one of them. I enjoy using the 16-35 too.

Yeah, hopefully it won't happen again. Normally, 9:00AM is still too early for me :)

Awesome stuff Viet. Love #3!
Hopefully you've recovered by now. That was a crazy weekend dude!

Why was it you chose to use only the 16-35 and 135? Trying something different or just too tired to change lenses?

Thanks Sam,
Shooting Asian weddings, I normally use the 16-35 for huge group shots at the 16mm end, other than that, the 35 stays on my 5D most of the time. The 135 is my lens choice when there's enough light for candid.

This week's wedding will be my last wedding of the year, then I get to relax & hang out with my kid, w00t :)
