I'm wanting to make the switch to primes, but my 50 1.8 doesn't focus fast enough for my liking. The 85 1.8 is lightning quick to focus. How is the Sigma 50 for focus speed/accuracy?

edit: and thanks for the comments folks. I really, really appreciate it. I honestly felt bad at the end of this wedding- I didn't think it went very well.
I am not sure if I would shoot volleyball with it but for portraits and weddings it is great! Plus the $500 price tag is a bonus. My only complaint is you can hear it focus.

Great work, #7 is really pretty... I like the framing, her expression and his emotion. They should be happy with these images!

Thanks Paco. I haven't heard from them, but I'm thinking they're still on Honeymoon...

Lonnie, I kind of hate that and love that about my Tamron- I can hear it focusing which sounds bad, but I kind of like it in the fact that I can tell it's working

I think I'd rather have the 35L for myself, keep my 85 f/1.8 and go for the 135L.
