I can't get over how much the groom is sweating in #1. Was he contemplating running? I feel like #5 is a little underexposed. I really like #9 (not a fan of the cufflink, but I'll put my bias aside), I think that if you could have shot from the other side of the cufflink, it would've mad a stronger image because I feel that the "R" is distracting to me. YMMV

All in all, I think you did a decent job for your first wedding. I'm not sure if you were looking for critiques or comments.

idk.. something is not right in all of these images. I think it's your composition , and control of light /flash in some shots.

I like your shots from the reception better than the wedding... better composition & color. In the wedding shots, there are heads cut off and lack of focal point... shot #4 has "someone" giving a beer to "someone"... unclear what is happening.

Watch for the little things... the sunglasses on the groomsman's forehead, hands in the pockets or hands out, not a combination of both. You are the photographer, give instruction for the look you want.

The toughest part of a wedding is staying out of the "excitement" and taking care of business. Focus on the shots wanted by the bride & groom & finding the creative shots you know they'll love.

Be very tough on yourself with what you did "wrong"... plan how you will make changes to avoid the same mistakes the next time. Then, find the "right" shots... right angle, right timing, correct lighting, etc.... Did you get these shots by accident or were you planning for that photo? Being tough on yourself is the best way to be better the next time. And after the next shoot, do the same again... PLAN, DO, REVIEW...

PLAN the entire shoot, make notes, get everything ready.
DO what you've planned, check your notes to stay on track, be ready to make changes as needed.
REVIEW... what did I do right, what did I do wrong, what will I do different.

Shots #1 & 5 from the reception are awesome. The girl has fantastic expression in both photos. That's the kind of shots you are looking for at all times.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on.
I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

Awesome advice! I second shot a few more weddings after this one and first shot one more all for a wedding photography out of austin after this one and have learned so much since I took these.

I think you did well for the first wedding. Listen to the advice given and keep up the good work.
