A different feeling - MY engagement session - 06-30-2010, 04:34 PM

Speaking all over the world, having so many amazing artists as our personal friends I must admit I have been very lucky in my life. With so many Wedding Photographers around the world offering to capture our wedding or wanting too, both Suzy and I have been very humbled by the chance at choosing one which suited our style of art which we like and personality which we enjoy being around.

Honestly choosing a wedding photographer was much easier than both Suzy or I figured it would be, the one we picked was on the top or near the top of both our lists, so with out wasting anymore time, the cats outta the bag on who is shooting our wedding.

Here is an Engagement Session which he captured of us two weeks ago in San Fran!

To View 12 of them go HERE :)

AND......Here's 1 to entice you... and yes I have permission to post the image per the artist :)

Awesome. Been a fan of The Turtle for some time now...

For those that don't know, Ed Pingol is a master of off-camera on-location lighting.

Not my class but, we have talked many times on OCF and other things. I also talked to Ed back in the day before he was full time just getting started. He considers me his Mentor, which humbles me since he kicks my butt in all aspects of this art. I knew years ago I wanted him to shoot my wedding, way before anyone knew him, I am just happy Suzy felt the same way now we are actually getting married.

His skills are amazing but his personality is better, and to me that means more in the long run.

Thank you and yes my old "grasshopper" is now truly a master of his art. Which is why we choose him for our wedding!

Thanks again for the nice words.

Really beautiful work. I love the shot you have above; I think it would go on my wall. Congrats to you both!

The pictures are beautiful photos, really creative & gorgeous.
I'm curious, Since your sitting on the other side of the fence I'm going to ask you. I notice that you can't really see your faces in most of the pictures. Would you buy a wall portrait like that or will you only want a wall portrait where both your faces are visible? Something I've been wondering artistic vs. practical type thing.

I enjoyed seeing your pictures, I was at Afterdark when you proposed! It's fun watching your wedding progress from the dark lerky corner of the internet! LOL

I like all of them, but I especially like the photo inside of Fort Mason. His lighting is incredible.
