Please help me. I know that this image needs to be improved. If you were in my shoes what would you do in photoshop to improve this image? How would you go about fixing/improving it ? I really need your help.

If the original was a raw file you could try to recover some of the blown highlights around the adults' heads. You may want to crop some of the featureless sky and negative space to the right of the group, perhaps get rid of the building corner on the left. And maybe burn the stone tiles a little.

Oh, and copy the smile from the littlest boy and paste it on the face of the menacing child to his left...

Good luck!

If you can make the adjustments Paco mentioned I would do that and maybe find another body for the kid who is not having a good time. But I will assume you can not do those.

First straighten the image. I is tilted almost 4 degrees. Way too much for such a straight forward posed group. When you straighten it, you don't have much room left to crop it. But here is my take on a square crop and a rectangular crop.

In addition to the above by Paco and MicWayWal,
basically the settings are:
Straighten 4
new layer: blue graduated filter Nikcolor:
55% opacity
33% mixture
multiply mode

new layer:
Tonal contrasts:
+53 +40 +37 +25

Clean as you like what you do not like (face)
and if you can find another face for the child who is angry, better

Hope you like

Angel
