The moments and expressions are nice, the second one is a winner (expressions wise) in my book. On my (calibrated) monitor, it looks a bit contrasty for my own tastes. Specifically in the the Sepia toned image, Garrett's dark brown hair gets lost in the trees. Maybe back it down a little and bump the levels a hair. Also the tree branches on the right hand bottom corner are distracting, especially as they are more illuminated than the rest of the frame (direct flash?) Perhaps crop them, and patch it out.

I feel fair bit of on-camera flash in these images too, especially the first one - not usually too flattering a look. It appears you had a pretty nice shady area / cloudy day, a reflector + assistant may have been a better solution for fill light.

The third image, skin tones are red and it feels a bit soft, a filter perhaps?

Overall the composition is nice, did a pretty good job on most of the images of not cutting off limbs but I personally would want to see a re-crop of the first image. Maybe a little bit less of her right elbow and more of her fingers on the images right side.

Thanks, that is the kind of feedback I needed. I used both an on-camera and off camera flash, but these all only had the fill flash on a strobo-frame on camera. My assistant (read wife) had a conflict and couldn't come and I didn't bring a stand to hold the reflector (my bad).

The sepia toned image was an experiment and I appreciate the feedback - I noticed the branches in the bottom, too, and am going to work on the hair and getting rid of the branches. The third image is soft on purpose but I'll check out the the skin tones. Again, I really appreicate the feedback and will remember it for next session.
